Metro Maryland Youth For Christ
Since the year 2000, company President Grant Grasmick has been the chairman of the annual Friends of Metro Maryland Youth for Christ Banquet which is held at Martin's West. For the past several years, the event has raised in excess of a half million dollars for this outstanding faith based ministry. Special keynote speakers and performers who have played an integral part in past years' banquets have been:
- 2001 Dr. Benjamin Carson, Chief of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital
- 2002 Dr. William Bennett, former Secretary of of Education under President Ronald Reagan
- 2003 The Honorable J.C. Watts, member of Congress from 1995-2002
- 2004 Mary Lou Retton, former Olympic Gold Medalist
- 2005 Deborah Norville, two time Emmy Award-winning broadcaster and host of nationally syndicated news magazine, "Inside Edition"
- 2006 Hon. John Ashcroft, former Governor of Missouri, U.S. Senator and Attorney General of the United States from 2001-2005
- 2007 Michael W. Smith, 40 time Dove Award and 6 time Grammy Award winning singer, songwriter, musician, and author
- 2008 Amy Grant, 21 time Dove Award and 6 time Grammy Award winning singer, songwriter, and author
